Thanks for the comment. I love your art and that comment coming from you made my day.
I was trying to give all of the art an organic feel. It's in Illustrator for my benefit. I don't think it should look like it was done with a computer. Sometimes vector art looks to perfect.
When I create the line art I add little scrathes and "brush" looking lines to make it look like the art was created using a brush or quill. More hand done on paper look. I also go in with a top layer and add little white marks at random to create more of a hand done look.
I remembered when the original Star Wars George Lucas said he liked movies with little scratches and imperfections. Kind of like the quilts made overseas. They add errors into the work so nothing they create is perfect.

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Although `DEVlANT joined our community only a year ago, he's made sure to make his mark in as many ways as possible. Always eager to bring suggestions and feedback to us in a positive way, `DEVlANT shows a maturity way beyond his years. It's with great pleasure that we award very first Deviousness of 2010 t...
