THE BOOM BRUSH WORKS GREAT WITH A 5pt. STROKE ON A CIRCLE

In homage to Jack Kirby-

I just created this brush set to do some cool energy effects for my new Marvel book..

I've applied it to some art from my Iron Man Hypervelocity miniseries.

There are a bunch of brushes in the source file with various settings. I hope you get some use out of these.

I have an online tutorial blog where I teach how to draw comics using Adobe Illustrator. I draw all my work in Illustrator 10. The blog is Illcraft.com at [link]

Cool brush set, just what I was looking for.
I've started using Pascal Verhoef's Photoshop versions of your brushes in my 30 Kirby character drawings in 30 days project. [link]

Hey.. I can't download your very nice brushes.. Help? I love them, and I can't find someone else to use. I tried to download other files. No problem.

Hi there, thanks for these brushes! I'm using them in Illustrator CS4 and the stroke color is not as expected. (Screenshot: [link] ). Some are only black and others are colored but if you make it yellow it's pink, red is blue, etc. Do you know what's going on?

Try adjusting Tints only.

Double click the Brush, in the fly-out menu you will see Colorization, adjust it to Tints, Select a new color to use and it should work.

Let me know if it doesn't.

Also adjust the Stroke weight in various strokes and sizes for cooler effects.
